Corey LaJoie: A Rising Star in NASCAR

Corey LaJoie is a name that is quickly gaining recognition in the NASCAR world. Born on September 25, 1991, in Concord, North Carolina, LaJoie began his racing career at a young age, following in the footsteps of his father, Randy LaJoie, who is a two-time NASCAR Busch Series champion.

LaJoie started racing in the Bandolero and Legend Car Series before moving up to the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East in 2012. He quickly showed his potential by winning two races and finishing second in the championship standings in his rookie season.

In 2014, LaJoie made his debut in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving for Richard Petty Motorsports. He ran a limited schedule that year, but still managed to finish in the top ten in two of his six starts. In 2015, he ran a full schedule for JGL Racing, earning his first top-five finish at Daytona International Speedway.

LaJoie continued to improve in the Xfinity Series, earning six top-ten finishes in 2016 and finishing a career-high seventh in the championship standings in 2017. In 2018, he moved up to the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, driving for TriStar Motorsports. He ran a limited schedule that year, but still managed to finish in the top twenty in two of his seven starts.

In 2019, LaJoie joined Go Fas Racing full-time in the Cup Series, where he has been ever since. While he has yet to earn a top-five or top-ten finish in the Cup Series, he has shown steady improvement, finishing a career-high 24th in the championship standings in 2020.

LaJoie is known for his aggressive driving style and willingness to take risks on the track. He is also a fan favorite for his outgoing personality and social media presence, where he interacts with fans and shares behind-the-scenes glimpses of his life as a NASCAR driver.

In addition to his racing career, LaJoie is also a successful businessman. He is the founder of the Fatheadz Eyewear company, which produces extra-wide eyeglasses and sunglasses for people with larger head sizes.
